Five Kiwis selected for Brilliance! 2022 international art exhibition

A total of eight creative works from five members of the New Zealand brain tumour community have been selected for the Brilliance! 2022 virtual art exhibition, an outstanding achievement!

Brilliance! is a global art exhibition curated by the International Brain Tumour Alliance (UK) to showcase the creativity and talent of the international brain tumour community. The Brilliance! 2022 catalogue features the work of 34 artists from nine countries and can be viewed online here.

The New Zealand artists featured in the catalogue are: Kate Coatsworth (Thames), Ross Morum (Auckland), Renee Prescott (Christchurch), Ben Winters (Wellington) and Kate Winters (Wellington). Our congratulations go out to these very talented people!

The curating panel for Brilliance! 2022 were thrilled at the quality of the entries for this year’s competition. In the Foreword to the catalogue they wrote: “The creative impulse in each artist opens a window to diverse feelings and experiences. By sharing these artistic representations, a common bond is formed and all who contribute cease to be alone.”
